Back in the Pool: Starting Swimming for Rehab

In my 30s, I first noticed my metabolism going slower — and so is recovery. As I enter parenthood, there’s less time for myself too.

And then there’s the old sports injury. For a long time it was well-balanced by other strong parts of my body. But as those strong parts turn weak, the injury has started surfacing again. Not ideal.

Last week, I finally managed to start swimming for rehab. Start slow, make steady steps. I hope the pain from the injury will get weaker — if not away — some time later!
