AH Bonus deals week 18 – blueberries 40% off

AH Bonus Check – 27 April to 3 May

A solid week. Finally a Greenfields discount, a couple of fish deals worth a look, and blueberries at almost half price.

🥩 AH Greenfields biefstuk – on discount (at last)

AH Greenfields kogelbiefstuk and biefstuk on Bonus

Greenfields is AH’s premium meat tier — usually noticeably more expensive than the standard line, and rarely on Bonus. This week it is:

  • Greenfields kogelbiefstuk (round steak) – €3.69 per 100g (was €4.41), about 16% off
  • Greenfields biefstuk (steak) – €3.49 per 100g (was €4.06), about 14% off

The percentage isn’t dramatic, but for Greenfields just being on Bonus is unusual. If you eat a good steak now and then, this is the moment to grab one.

Our verdict: 🔥 go for the quality. For Greenfields, this is a fair price.

🐟 Fish: Pangasius and Tonijnsteak – 25% and 15% off

AH Pangasius 25% off and Tonijnsteak wit 15% off

Fish at AH isn’t exactly cheap — at a market you’d usually get more for your money. But if the market isn’t an option and you want it delivered to your door, these are worth considering.

  • AH Pangasius (fresh counter) – 25% off, €3.49 for ~350g (2 portions), starting Monday
  • AH Tonijnsteak wit (white tuna steak) – 15% off, €3.68 per 130g

Pangasius is the better deal of the two — mild, easy to cook. Tuna steak is more expensive per gram, but fine for a quick weeknight pan-fry.

Our verdict: 🔥 reasonable deals if you do your shopping at AH anyway. Not the biggest blowout, but the time-saved argument counts.

🫐 AH Blauwe bessen (Blueberries) 300g – 40% off

Down from €4.89 to €2.93 for a 300g punnet. Simply a good deal: berries are usually pricey and 40% off is immediately noticeable.

Great in yoghurt, on porridge, in smoothies, or straight from the box. They keep 5–7 days in the fridge if you store them dry.

Our verdict: 🔥 don’t miss this. Berries under €3 for 300g aren’t common.

Also worth noting this week

A few other things from the produce section:

  • 🤔 AH Nederlandse aardbeien (Dutch strawberries) 400g – 2 for €5.99. Not a real banger, but fine if you wanted strawberries anyway.
  • Small sweet apples 1kg + Conference pears 4-pack – 2 for €3.99 (from Monday). Looks like a tidy combo at first, but read it carefully: 4 conference pears for €2 is overpriced. The cheap apples are the bait; the pears are where AH takes its margin. If you only wanted the apples: fine. Don’t grab the bundle just because it’s a “two for” deal.
  • 🤔 AH Mango eetrijp (ready-to-eat) 2 pcs – €2.99. Decent price if they’re actually ripe — otherwise let them sit a day or two.

See you next week for another Bonus Check 👀

No Bonuskaart? You’re missing the best deals

Most AH discounts only apply with a Bonuskaart loyalty card. If you don’t have one yet, it’s worth sorting out: Getting or using a Bonuskaart

It adds up to real savings at the checkout.
